Galaxy S26 Price Hike? It May Be On the Table After All
Last week we covered a report suggesting that the Samsung Galaxy S26 could be priced up — although it was not in US, there is also ‘an increase of price for this new model. Well, things don’t seem to be in stone just yet.’ The company exec said something interesting in an interview with the company’s CEO.
The Galaxy S26 may not be able to avoid a price hike after all
Samsung president and head of global marketing, Wonjin Lee said ‘It is going up even as we speak. We don’t want to explain that burden to the consumers, but we’re going to be at a point where we really have to consider repricing our products. He told Bloomberg this in an interview with – ’This is what he said.
While he did not specifically mention the Galaxy S26, we may be surprised by something that might have happened to us. Korean December report said Samsung was having problems reducing costs “to reduce cost” in its efforts to cut costs, according to a Korea-based statement.
And that’s certainly something to do with price increases of key components, including semiconductors, which clearly had a point. Also, memory prices have also been soaring through the roof; Samsung’s DRAM division broke revenue records in Q4 2025.
Samsung is making its own memory, so that could help things
It’s not a bad thing for Samsung to keep things at bay when it comes to pricing, but that is what they are doing with their own memory. While it is difficult to understand exactly when you believe, according to what Wonjin Lee said about Samsung products, price hikes will be in general.
And, considering how he said that, that doesn’t mean it’ll be with the Galaxy S26 series. Still, while it is still to be seen, many markets could end up offering a bit more expensive Galaxy S26 phones as things stand.
The Galaxy S26 line will be released in February, according to Speaking of which. Many trusted sources have tipped February 25 so we don’n’t think that it is true that there was no reason not to believe that the has been in. It’s a new generation of the Samsung Galaxy S26, GalaxyS26+ and Galaxy Sa26 Ultra .
