OnePlus 15 Update Supercharges Photos & Video Editing

The January 2025 Android security patch is the latest update for the OnePlus 15 with its new version. The 16-year-old update is marked as a . 0. 3 501, and is based on Android 16 with OxygenOS 16, of course.

OnePlus did update its changelog, and there are quite a few changes listed. The side slider in Private Safe allows you to now slide the file through a window-sliding option, which is used to browse files. Also, the update allows you to search for files from folders in Private Save (and share file files in private safe) and also affixed with files.

Moreover, this update also makes network connections more stable and allows you to launch the storage cleanup tools from Smart Sidebar. The Photos app also allows automatic straightening when cropping and rotating portrait and architectural photos are cropped and rotated.

Video editing has been much improved

Video editing The phone now supports cutting, splitting and multi-clip stitching (music), text & speed adjustment/speed adjustments; cropping plus more. In fact this will make editing videos a breeze, it’s incredibly new.’ This means that the video editor is going to be an important update and so will do so much more than anything else in its history.

In the Photos app it now has a filter that supports ‘Motion Photo’, ‘Screenshots & screen recordings’ and ‘Edited’ options. In the Photos app, there has also been a new thumbnail parshing method in addition to being improved.

You can now drag app clone icons and add shortcuts to your apps, while the ‘Circle to Search’ feature has been activated. The most important changes are these, but more of them are listed in the changelog for these.
