Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 May Go Exclusive with TSMC’s 2nm Tech

With its 2nm Exynos 2600, Samsung has made a big step in chip department. Earlier, it said that it can use its latest technology and maintain healthy yields to compete with competitors such as TSMC. Such innovations made the brand secure an agreement with Tesla. Nevertheless, the new development suggests that talks are still not coming to fruition when it comes to contract manufacturing for brands such as Qualcomm. TSMC’s 2nm N2P process will be used exclusively for the next Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and 8 elite Gen6 Pro, according to reports.

According to Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, “We’re there special identifiers for Qualcomm’s next chips — probably the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro and 8 elite Gen 6, which will be called SM8975 and SS8750.” But he says that Qualcomm is still using TSMC as its foundry partner, citing the fact that it remains with a source of telecommunications company.
